Looking for a DigiTickets Alternative? Why Sailia is the Best Choice
DigiTickets has been doing attraction ticketing since 2009. Farm parks, zoos, showcaves, Halloween mazes. If your business is get them through the gate, count them, scan them, they know that job.
The question is what happens after the gate. Most attractions do not just sell admission any more. There are birthday parties with a host. Holiday clubs with a ratio to hit. Falconry displays, tractor rides, school groups, a climbing wall that needs a qualified instructor on it. DigiTickets sells you the entry ticket. The rota, the kit, the waivers and the instructor cover happen somewhere else, usually a spreadsheet.
Sailia does both. Ticketing, scanning, kiosks, EPOS, access control, memberships and season passes, same as DigiTickets. Then the operational half: automated staffing by qualification, kit allocation, digital waivers, courses, CRM and marketing. All on one platform.

A ticket is the start of the day, not the whole day
DigiTickets is built around admissions. Scan a barcode, count a head, open a gate. It does that well, and Sailia does it too: online, onsite, kiosk, mobile wallet, timed entry, capacity caps, the lot.
But an attraction is not one product any more. A wet Tuesday in February is a school group, two birthday parties and a Little Explorers session. Each one needs a person who is qualified to run it, a space, and usually some kit. In DigiTickets that is a ticket type. Everything else is your problem.
In Sailia the booking knows what it needs. Which staff member holds the right qualification, who is actually on shift, which kit comes out of the store, which room it sits in. It staffs the session and allocates the equipment on its own. Waivers get signed at checkout and attach to the booking, so nobody is chasing a parent across the car park with an iPad five minutes before the session starts.
That is the difference between selling tickets and running an attraction.
Pricing that fits how you trade
DigiTickets starts at £1,500 per user as a one-time cost, before you have sold a ticket.
Sailia gives you the model that suits the business. Usage-based, so you pay when you earn and a quiet February does not cost you the same as an August bank holiday. Or an annual licence with enterprise pricing and a proper SLA, which is what most multi-site groups need for procurement.
Everything is switched on from day one either way. No modules, no upsells, no feature you assumed was included turning up as a line item.
Own your customers instead of renting them
DigiTickets gives you promotions and a customer database, then points you at third-party tools for the actual marketing. Export a list, upload it somewhere else, pay for that too, and hope the data still lines up next season.
Sailia keeps it in one place. Every visitor lands in your CRM. Segment by what they booked, when they came, what they spent, then send email and SMS from the same screen. Thank-yous, reminders and review requests fire on their own. Your Halloween list is still your Halloween list next October, and it has grown.
An API you can actually build on
DigiTickets integrates. Payment gateways, EPOS partners, an app or two. That is fine until you want something they have not built.
Sailia is API-first. Whatever the platform does, the API does. Bookings, memberships, customers, availability, payments, access control. Fully documented and open, so your website, your reporting stack and your access hardware talk to Sailia directly. If you have a developer, you are not waiting on someone else's roadmap.
Migrate without going dark
Single site, you are live in days. A large park with years of membership history, live direct debits and access hardware on multiple gates takes months. Anyone quoting you a fortnight has not looked at your data.
What does not happen is downtime. We run alongside your existing system and move it across in stages. Bookings, memberships and payments stay live throughout. No cutover weekend. No box office on pen and paper. Nobody stuck at the turnstile on a bank holiday.
Support is live chat, answered in minutes, and one person owns your migration start to finish. As Tracey Boyne puts it:
"All of the features are so well thought out. It really is amazing. Just get it."
The bottom line
DigiTickets sells tickets, and does it well. If admissions is genuinely all you do, it will serve you.
If your attraction also runs sessions, parties, courses, camps or anything with an instructor in front of it, you are currently running that half of the business outside your ticketing system. Sailia puts it back in one place.

Frequently asked questions
Can Sailia handle timed entry and capacity like DigiTickets? Yes. Timed slots, capacity caps, online, onsite, kiosk and mobile ticketing are all native.
Do you work with our scanners, turnstiles and barriers? Yes. Ticket and barcode scanning is native, and Sailia integrates with turnstile, barrier and wristband systems.
Can we run memberships and season passes? Yes. Memberships, season passes, recurring billing and Direct Debit collection are all native.
Do you do EPOS for the shop and cafe? Yes. Point of sale is built in, on the same system as your ticketing, so the day's numbers reconcile themselves.
How does Sailia price? However suits you. Usage-based so you pay when you earn, or an annual licence with enterprise pricing and an SLA. DigiTickets starts at £1,500 per user as a one-time cost.
Do you have an API? Yes, extensive and fully documented. Bookings, memberships, customers, availability, payments and access control all exposed.
How long does it take to switch? Single site, days. A large multi-gate park, months, because the data is genuinely complex. Either way, no downtime. We run alongside your current system while you keep trading.
